A project completed during my time at MLR Architects in Sydney, Australia. In order to produce a light source for a renovated church hall, a small low volume design project was undertaken in order to enhance the traditional design of the church. As a symbolic link between the past and present, the lantern design creates a fusion between traditional church design and modern lighting technology. This design has been incorporated into a variety of other projects around Sydney, but is not in mass production.
